Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Radiology / CardiologyStart Date: 07/01/2026Shift Length: 8 hoursVMS Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:45 - 16:30)Hourly Pay Rate: $55.31Job Description:
- RTO after booking is NOT permitted and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite.
- Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in a cancellation and DNR.
- The expected start date aligns with Novant's schedule but is subject to change based on class and trainer availability.
- Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available without other commitments to accommodate schedule changes.
- Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel the start.
- Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
- Minimum of 2 Years of Experience.
- Traveler Experience required.
- Local candidates accepted.
- Work Setting Skills: Adult Outpatient.
- Adult Echo Skills required: 2-D & 3-D Echo, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Treadmill Stress Echo.
- Certifications: BLS.
- Preferred Skills/Certifications/Experience:
- Adult Echo Skills: Routine.
- Additional Certifications: ACLS.
- Ratios: 1:5.
- Average Daily Census/Visits/Day: 10.
- Rooms/Beds: 1.
- Shift: 40 Hours/week, 8-hour days.
- No call requirement.
- Float requirement: Yes (between clinic and Novant Health Heart and Vascular - Hilton Head NHMG, approximately 16.5 miles apart; 1-2 weeks of floating).
- Weekend requirement: None.
- Patient Age Group: Adults & Geriatrics.
- Procedures: Standard echos, stress echos, bubble studies, carotid, aorta, abdomen.
- Equipment: GE ultrasound machines & Tread Mills.
- Orientation: Varies depending on experience and clinic needs.
- Scrubs: Not provided.
- Interview availability: Please provide candidates availability for the next 72 hours upon submission.
