EDC Picker

Summary: Identify, count, and stage products for shipping. Prepare documentation and labeling for staging of the product. Duties include consolidating product, accurately counting product, properly documenting transactions, adhering to established storage methods, and performing general housekeeping duties as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Identify product.
• Accurate counting of product using approved methods such as tare weight identification, proper picking container, hand or scale counting.
• Use of AS400, inventory reports, or other means to assist in the identification and consolidation of products to minimize inventory locations.
• Record inventory data on required documentation to include inventory location and required quantity picked, note damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
• Prepare inventory through established procedures.
• Proper location identification i.e. tubs tags or other means.
• Deliver or route materials to proper inventory locations, using work devices, such as hand truck, electric pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, or order pickers.
• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
• Requisition and store inventory materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
