POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Edgebander Operator - 2nd shift
DEPARTMENT: Mill
JOB SUMMARY: Operates a edgebander machine to apply laminate/vinyl materials to wood parts
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Sets up and adjusts edgebander to run parts
- Reads and interprets work diagrams and paperwork
- Trims and checks accuracy of parts
SKILLS:
- Must be able to interpret shop paperwork.
- Must also be able to read tape measure to 1/16"
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma preferred
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled area during summer months
- Must be able to stand/ walk for 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Use of basic hand tools (screw gun, drill, hand router, including table saw)
- Some cleaning of parts involved
- Must pass drug test
- 2nd shift position
