Position Overview:The ARM Institute is searching for an Education and Workforce Development (EWD) Project Assistant to join our team! The EWD Project Assistant supports the successful delivery of workforce and economic development initiatives by providing project coordination, administrative support, and program tracking for a portfolio of grant-funded programs. Working closely with the Director of EWD Programs, this role helps manage project activities, maintain documentation, monitor progress, and coordinate communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting programs that advance workforce development, innovation, and community impact. This is a dynamic opportunity in a non-profit organization for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the coordination and execution of multiple grant-funded workforce and economic development (EWD) programs and initiatives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for program partners and sub-awardees, assisting with onboarding, contracting, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and project communications, including preparing agendas, presentations, and meeting summaries.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and shared resources to support program operations and compliance requirements.
- Collect, organize, and track project data, performance metrics, and program deliverables.
- Prepare status reports, project updates, and other materials for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Support communication and collaboration with partners, funders, sub-awardees, and other key stakeholders.
- Assist with maintaining project dashboards, trackers, databases, and website content to ensure information remains current and accessible.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, training sessions, events, and other program activities.
- Support the administration of the organization's Endorsement Program, including applications, renewals, audits, reporting, and participant communications.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and delivery of educational programming, guided tours, and visitor experiences within the Learning Lab and Experience Center.
- Contribute to special projects and other program initiatives that advance the organization's workforce development and innovation goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, business, workforce development, or a related field preferred.
- Associate degree and/or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in project coordination, program support, education, workforce development, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Outlook and proficiency for common workplace tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project tracking software, and presentation tools).
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% as needed for business-related meetings, events, and project support.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
