Education CoordinatorSYLVAN LEARNING - Chino Full-time 32-36 hours per week

Join us, and be inspired!• As a successful Educational Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to champion the Sylvan developed curriculum, manage and ensure the quality of the education standards and teaching staff, partner with locals schools and school administrators and grow the business in your center.As a successful Education Coordinator, you will: • Help Grow the Center:
- Keep parents informed on program progress by writing ongoing conferences
- Work on recommendations to alter program prescriptions or offer additional programs
- Manage offsite contracts
Manage & Train:
- Participate in training & motivating all certified instructors, teachers and educational staff
- Partner with the Center Director to run operations
Ensure Educational Integrity:
- Administer Sylvan Skills Assessments; analyze and interpret results
- Write and recommend goal-based programs for Sylvan Students as well as monitor programs for performance.
- Establish relationships and communications with students’ teachers for insights on school progress
- Create positive learning environment by modeling motivational behavior in the center for staff, students and parents, during all phases of the instructional program.
We prefer:
- A teaching credential, either current or expired
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Managerial experience
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasive skills, and the ability to build relationships
- Effective problem solving skills
- Confidence presenting to large groups
- Ability to work evening hours and some Saturdays
