Education DirectorLocation: The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards, NYPay: $85,000 – $95,000 per yearCertification Required: NYS B–2 Teaching Certification

The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards is seeking an experienced and dynamic Education Director to lead academic excellence, staff development, and operational success within our early childhood education center. This leadership role is ideal for a results-driven educator with strong management experience in a preschool or daycare setting.

We provide a structured, play-based learning environment where children thrive academically and socially.

What You’ll Do

Instructional Leadership

Coach and mentor teachers to ensure high-quality classroom instruction
Guide consistent implementation of the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Conduct classroom observations and provide professional feedback

Operations and Compliance

Maintain full compliance with NYC Department of Health licensing and safety standards
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and payroll coordination
Monitor financial performance, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monthly P&L reporting

Enrollment and Family Engagement

Lead center tours and build strong relationships with prospective and current families
Drive enrollment growth, retention, and community partnerships
Support marketing and outreach initiatives

Qualifications

NYS B–2 Teaching Certification required
Minimum 1 year of center leadership experience required (2+ years preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of NYC licensing regulations
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Compensation: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
