Special Education Teacher
Location: Northern California
Pay Rate: Up to $70/hour

As a K-12 School-Based Special Education Teacher, Your Days Will Include:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional growth.
- Provide specialized instruction using evidence-based strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
- Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and classroom activities to support individual learning goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Implement positive behavior supports and effective classroom management strategies.
- Create an inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and achievement.
- Maintain compliance with IDEA, California special education regulations, and district policies.
Job Details
- Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
- Hours: Full-time (Monday Friday)
- Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School opportunities available
- Schedule: School hours with no nights, weekends, or holidays
