Job Description

EHS Coordinator will be responsible for following the direction of the EHS Manager in administering the EHS Program on a floor level.

Job Duties:

Strong organizational skills.
Requires close collaboration with production leadership (day/night shift), as well as EHS coordinators across all shifts and all sites.
Conduct daily shop walk throughs.
Encourage Pro-Active Hazard Identification and Mitigation through ensuring employee participation in consistent behavior-based safety programs.
Working with supervisors and leads to develop effective JSA’s.
Stay abreast of existing and proposed laws, regulations, standards, and regulatory guidance (and proposed changes) to assess applicability.
Investigate and document work-related accidents, incidents, and near misses, and ensure corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
Act on hazards and look for mitigation methods to deal with the hazards discovered.

Job Skills requirements:

PC proficiency with Microsoft office tools that include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to mentor and coach others on safety guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years supervisory experience.
Experience in leading safety meetings.
Experience with OSHA Standards CFR 1910 for the general industry.

Schedule will be Monday – Friday. Saturdays when needed.

1^st Shift 6am to 4pm with some overtime.

Pay range: $25-$30 an hour based on experience.
