- Provide comprehensive elder law and estate planning services to clients
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
- Navigate MassHealth planning and asset protection strategies
- Assist with long-term care planning and veterans' benefits
- Represent clients with respect to long-term planning issues, including fair hearings with MassHealth.
- Actively cultivate and maintain referral relationships with financial advisors, CPAs, healthcare professionals, and other strategic partners
- Participate in community outreach and educational seminars
- Contribute to the firm's marketing and networking initiatives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
- Stay current with evolving elder law regulations and best practices
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
- Take on increasing responsibility as skills and experience develop
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of experience in elder law and estate planning
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid/MassHealth planning, estate planning tools, and elder law regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Commitment to providing compassionate, client-focused service
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with business development and referral generation
- Knowledge of veterans' benefits and special needs planning
- Familiarity with estate administration and probate procedures
- Strong community connections within the elder care network
- Interest in contributing to business development and growing your own client base
