Job Description

Electric Motor Mechanic
Responsibilities:
  1. Dismantling and detailed inspecting AC and DC Electric motors, through 15,000HP and 13,800v.
  2. Assembly and Testing of AC and DC Electric motors.
  3. Test and check Electric motors using:
    • Meggers
    • Low OHM Meters
    • Micrometers
    • AC/DC Test Panels
    • Hi-Potential (HiPot) Tester
    • Surge Comparison Tester
    • Bar to Bar Tester
  4. Document and record all readings/measurements in tablet-based job packets.
  5. Adhere to all Customer requirements and specifications.
  6. This position reports to the Mechanic Team Leader.
