Electrical AssemblyLocation: Millersville, MD 21108Duration: 12+ months (Temp to perm)Pay rate range: $30/hr—$34/hr on W2(All inclusive)Work schedule: 9/80 (Start Time: 6am or 7am)Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Essential Functions:
- Possess the ability to work as part of a team and to have a positive attitude is essential.
- Must be able to work independently, interpret assembly drawings, and follow verbal/written work instructions to produce a high-quality unit within the allotted time frame.
- Must have good computer skills with Word and Excel to be able to open and modify documents.
- Ability to follow standard procedures.
- Current IPC J-STD certification preferred.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
