Electrical Assistant Project Manager/Estimator

Due to our continued growth and success, we are excited to expand our team! We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our Electrical team. The ideal candidate will support the planning, execution, and finalization of construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

·         Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss project scheduling, coordinate work, and resolve issues.

·         Estimate new projects utilizing Accubid software.

·         Review of the estimate to check for errors and omissions.

·         Client relationship building and business development.

·         Work onsite at project collaboration offices.

·         Assist with project closeout documentation.

·         Track and maintain project logs.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate with a wide spectrum of individuals.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

·         Tech savvy is a plus.

Education and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

·         Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in electrical construction.
