Electrical & Mechanical Specialist

• PRIMARY FUNCTION:• General Maintenance of plant mechanical and electrical equipment.• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:• 1) Must have a minimum of one year experience in the position of Maintenance Specialist, QJOB2001, or a• minimum of 1 year previous Industrial Maintenance work experience.• 2) Must be able to pass a qualifications test of reading AC and DC schematics and troubleshooting and• repair magnetic controls from schematics.• 3) Must be able to pass a qualification test of troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic controls from• schematics.• 4) Must not have a fear of high voltage.• 5) Must score 70 or above on the qualification test. (There will be a two week waiting period before• retesting.)• 6) Must have previous Industrial Maintenance work experience or be in EMS B position for 120 days• before taking further qualification test.• RESPONSIBILITIES:• 1) Maintain proper housekeeping in the Maintenance areas.• 2) Perform preventive maintenance work orders as assigned.• 3) Perform maintenance work orders as assigned.• 4) Order, stock, and maintain the maintenance repair parts inventory.• 5) Adheres to all plant safety rules and procedures.• TRAINING CHECKLIST:• Training Checklist, QTCL2501, must be completed.
