Job Description

Position Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician- Rotating Shift (Dupont)Pay: $30 - $39/hrLocation: Conyers, GAEmployment Type- Direct HirePosition Summary: We are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment. This role focuses on electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC troubleshooting, motors, valves, and plant reliability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and instrumentation systems*
  • Diagnose issues with motors, valves, VFDs, and process equipment*
  • Support PLC and control system troubleshooting, modifications, and upgrades*
  • Assist with DCS maintenance and system improvements*
  • Provide electrical and controls support for plant projects and maintenance activities*
  • Read electrical schematics and technical documentation*
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and support emergency repairs as needed
Requirements:
  • 2-5+ years of industrial Electrical & Instrumentation experience*
  • Experience troubleshooting plant equipment, motors, valves, and instrumentation*
  • Knowledge of 480V electrical systems and industrial controls*
  • PLC troubleshooting experience; programming modifications are a plus*
  • Experience with VFDs and process control equipment*
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex systems*
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work in an industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ControlLogix or similar PLC platforms*
  • DCS troubleshooting experience*
  • Knowledge of pressure, flow, and temperature instrumentation*
  • Excel and basic computer skills
