- UL experience, such as running audits, testing, and ensuring products comply with industry standards.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams abroad, such as in Sweden.
- 600+ employees worldwide, 40 in the US, and 8 Engineers in the US. 250+ engineers worldwide to collaborate with/
- Minimal travel 1-2 times per year to corporate HQ in Sweden. More travel is available if you desire.
- Onsite with slight hybrid work from home may be available 1-2 days from home.
- Ensure compliance of products with regulatory standards, including UL, CE, FCC, and other applicable industry standards.
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct and oversee testing procedures, evaluate results, and provide recommendations to achieve compliance.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to certification bodies, ensuring timely approvals.
- Stay updated with evolving industry regulations and implement necessary compliance changes.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and testing laboratories.
- Develop and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- 5+ years of professional experience in compliance engineering, regulatory affairs, or product safety. PE / Masters preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience with UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standards and certification processes.
- Familiarity with international and domestic regulatory standards (e.g., IEC, CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH).
- Experience with safety and compliance testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
