Step into a leadership role as an Electrical Construction Manager overseeing residential, agricultural, and commercial solar installation projects. This growing contractor offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team while managing projects from contract signing through final completion. With a strong pipeline of solar projects and a collaborative environment working closely with sales, engineering, and field crews, this role is perfect for a driven construction professional ready to take ownership of operations and help scale a thriving renewable energy division.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Construction Manager position include:
- Experience in electrical construction, solar installation, or contracting environments; manage projects from contract execution through completion while ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Strong leadership and people skills; rally and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects progressing smoothly.
- Project management experience overseeing residential, agricultural, and commercial solar projects ranging from $35K to $250K with occasional larger projects exceeding $1M.
- Ability to coordinate scheduling, subcontractors, and internal teams including sales, engineering, and crew leads.
- Strong communication and customer service skills; act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Experience supervising field and office operations; oversee approximately 10–12 team members including schedulers and crew leads.
- Proficiency with computers and project tracking tools such as Excel and JobNimbus; manage documentation, scheduling, and project progress tracking.
- Willingness to split time between office and field (approximately 60% office / 40% field) with regional travel for site visits and project coordination.
Salary: $85,000 per year base salary, plus shared commission and bonus potential, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including company vehicle, company credit card, cell phone, travel reimbursement and per diem when applicable, quarterly performance bonuses based on project KPIs with additional project percentage incentives, health insurance reimbursement with company health plan in development, 401(k), 5–6 paid holidays, and one week of vacation in the first year with additional flexibility for time off.
