A bit about us:

Our client designs and manufactures sophisticated industrial equipment requiring integrated electrical, automation, instrumentation, and control systems. The engineering team is looking for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between electrical design and hands-on controls engineering.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys designing the electrical/control architecture but also wants to program PLCs, troubleshoot systems, and participate in commissioning.

Job Details

8+ years of experience in electrical controls, automation, industrial controls, or related engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs / ControlLogix / Studio 5000Experience with FactoryTalkExperience designing electrical control systems and/or control panelsStrong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, I/O, and instrumentationExperience with industrial automation and process equipmentAbility to interpret P&IDs and develop controls based on process requirementsExperience with commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT, and troubleshootingIndustrial/manufacturing/process environment experience preferredAbility to travel approximately 25%
