Together, we create meaningful spaces while supporting each other’s growth and success.YOUR PURPOSEThe Electrical Department Supervisor plays an important role in shaping a positive, high‑performing team culture within the base office. In this position, you’ll lead with purpose through coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members so they feel supported and equipped to do their best work. You will help guide your team through project responsibilities and workload planning, thoughtfully aligning talent with project needs to ensure smooth delivery and strong outcomes. Your leadership will directly influence the quality and consistency of our work, helping us uphold team standards and contributing to the successful delivery of profitable, well‑executed projects. A key part of your impact will be developing your team through supporting career development and fostering professional growth. You will collaborate closely with the Department Manager and fellow Supervisors to build a leadership group that continuously improves processes and elevates team performance. You will work together with the rest of the electrical leadership team to improve quality standards and improve efficiency, details and processes as codes evolve or new methods, software and artificial intelligence tools become available to the department. You will also represent the department in business development efforts and help nurture strong client relationships that support the long‑term success of the firm. - Contribute actively to the Leadership Team, helping shape strategies that strengthen operations, elevate performance, and support long‑term firm success.
- Develop results‑oriented business strategies for your team, ensuring alignment with firmwide goals and priorities.
- Partner with the Manager and fellow Supervisors to establish appropriate staffing levels, assign workloads, and forecast future resource needs.
- Participate meaningfully in recruiting efforts by identifying talent needs, interviewing candidates, and supporting onboarding.
- Meet regularly with the Manager and Supervisors to review workload projections, evaluate staffing assignments, and ensure alignment across the home office.
- Guide emerging professionals through the licensure process and support their long‑term career development.
- Conduct performance planning discussions with team members and collaborate with the Manager and Supervisors to set meaningful career goals to include creating opportunities to support mentorship and professional development.
- Monitor quality control across documents and projects, reinforcing high standards and consistent delivery.
- Promote a positive and collaborative team culture by modeling accountability, encouraging open communication, and fostering an environment where individuals feel valued and supported.
- Participate in professional organizations and community activities to promote TowerPinkster and support long‑term talent development.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑standing client relationships that support trust, repeat work, and long‑term partnership.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking, involvement in professional organizations, and contributing to project pursuits.
- Represent the department in interviews with prospective clients, demonstrating expertise and strengthening the firm’s market presence.
- Collaborate with clients during planning and design to understand scope, identify solutions, and ensure alignment with client needs and expectations.
- Prepare clear, compelling reports and presentations that communicate design intent, project progress, and strategic recommendations.
- Support a culture of client‑focused service by coaching team members on communication, responsiveness, and relationship‑building.
- Ensure project teams have a clear understanding of project scope, roles, expectations, and deadlines to support project planning efforts and outcomes.
- Serve as a senior subject matter resource to help resolve project challenges and guide teams toward effective solutions, which include sharing experiences, knowledge, skills, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate project efforts across disciplines, clients, and construction partners to meet schedule, budget, and quality milestones.
- Oversee quality reviews for all projects, reinforcing technical excellence and consistency.
- Partner with the Manager to develop and implement improvements to project procedures, workflows, and production standards.
- Provide project management, design expertise, and contract administration for select projects.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions while maintaining confidentiality.
- Deliver high‑quality, thoughtful service by anticipating client needs and building trust through responsiveness.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, adapting style to engage diverse audiences and build strong relationships.
- Collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines to advance shared goals and strengthen firmwide success.

- A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution
- Professional Licensure and/or relevant industry accreditations required.
- 10+ years of professional experience in the A/E Industry.
- 5+ years of experience leading project teams.
- Knowledge and experience in REVIT software.
- Knowledge and experience in lighting design including point-by-point calculations.
- Knowledge and experience with arc flash and coordination studies.
- Extensive knowledge of standards and codes.
- In-depth knowledge of A/E construction documents and the construction industry preferred
- Participation in professional industry organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and Teams.
