Electrical Design Engineer

No C2C / Only W2 / No Sponsorship We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support R&D and manufacturing activities for advanced electromechanical medical systems used in cancer treatment. This is a hands-on, on-site role based in Texas, contributing to sustaining engineering, product enhancements, and new product development within a regulated environment. Responsibilities Perform end-to-end electrical design, including component selection, schematic design, circuit simulation, prototype evaluation, and unit/system-level testing. Develop and execute test engineering and test development activities using standard and custom electrical test equipment. Support product lifecycle activities: system integration testing, lifecycle testing, and engineering change orders (ECOs) in SAP for hardware, firmware, and embedded systems. Troubleshoot manufacturing and field issues using root cause analysis, driving quality and reliability improvements. Create and maintain compliant engineering documentation and technical product files. Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and service teams, including NPI support with contract manufacturers. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, custom electrical assembly design, and manufacturing support. Strong expertise in schematic design, engineering analysis, DFM/DFA, and reliability engineering. Proficiency with electronic assembly fabrication processes and regulated product development. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills; self-motivated and detail-oriented. Medical device experience preferred but not required.
