Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer - CAD Location: OakBrook Terrace, IL Job Type and Duration: Pay range: $85,000 - $125,000 This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys owning projects from concept through construction and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The projects are small and move quickly. Ranging from 2,000 SF to 50,000 SF small tenant buildouts, commercial, retail, and manufacturing facilities, with schedules that can range from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on project scope and complexity.

Responsibilities:

Electrical design, modeling and documentation
Code Review
Lighting calculations and circuitry
Design knowledge with:
- Power distribution, load calculations, specifications
- Generator Systems
Site survey
Shop drawing review

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: 5 years +
B.S. Engineering
Knowledge of engineering codes and standards e.g. ASPE, IMC, IECC
Experience in all phases of project management
Experience with AutoCad a must, Revit and Solidworks a plus
Knowledge of HVAC Engineering is a big plus
