Design electrical and control systems for industrial automation and material handling equipment
Interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical system specifications
Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers in a concurrent engineering environment
Provide technical support to Purchasing, Production, Sales, Installation, and Product Support teams
Conduct field surveys and assist with troubleshooting activities
Develop electrical network layouts and documentation
Travel up to 10% as required

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
3–8 years of electrical design experience
Experience designing industrial control panels
Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools)
Familiarity with PLC platforms (e.g., B&R, Phoenix Contact, Mitsubishi, or similar)
Knowledge of industrial bus/network systems (e.g., X2X, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs)
Familiarity with UL 508A panel standards
Understanding of Ethernet and industrial network architecture
Ability to manage shifting priorities and work with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with material handling systems (e.g., conveyors, monorail systems, automated transport)
PLC, HMI, and VFD programming experience
Knowledge of safety circuits and safety PLCs
Ability to read pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
Familiarity with risk assessments and ISO 13849 standards
