About the Role

At SciAps, we’re redefining what’s possible in portable analytical instrumentation. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a world-class team of engineers and scientists developing high-performance handheld devices using LIBS, XRF, and Raman technologies. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering and science, solving complex challenges in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • You have 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, ideally with sensor-based instruments

  • You’re skilled in digital (embedded uP and FPGA), analog, power supply, or firmware design

  • You’re proficient in SPICE simulations and PCB design using e-CAD tools

  • You have hands-on experience with electronics prototyping, rework, and soldering

  • You’re confident using lab instruments like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and DMMs

  • You’ve successfully taken projects from concept to production

  • You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams

  • You hold a BSEE (MS preferred) or equivalent experience
