The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Design Engineer design to join our team. The Electrical Design Engineer will design and ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory requirements such as Mil-STD-810 or RTCA DO-160. The Electrical Design Engineer should be cross functional and capable of performing design and manufacturing definition along with conducting tests in support of project goals.
This position is 100% on-site.
The Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities include:
Design by Schematic capture, simulation, analysis, and layout of electronic devices such as:
DC to DC converters, motor drivers, sensors, generator control units, and power filters.
Review of designs created by others
Testing of electronic devices to commercial or military standards
Collaboration and troubleshooting of design issues
Documentation of design issues, solutions, test plans and reports
Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of industry experience working with or consulting on electrical design
- U. S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
