Senior Electrical Designer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Pittsburgh-based team and support projects that are central to our clients’ core operations. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge facilities, including semiconductor manufacturing, data centers, and other state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing environments.

As a key member of our electrical delivery team, you will perform advanced computer-aided drafting and design for electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems. Using AutoCAD and Revit MEP, you will develop layouts, sketches, and detailed 2D/3D models while contributing to world-class designs for globally recognized clients.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical design and drafting for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems
Develop layouts, sketches, electronic drawing files, and 2D/3D models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
Coordinate delivery of complex design packages with engineers and design leads
Serve as a core contributor to the electrical delivery team across multiple projects
Develop staffing plans aligned with project schedules and deliverables
Gain and apply understanding of client scope, expectations, budget, and schedules
Mentor junior designers and drafters and provide technical guidance
Support project execution to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
10+ years of relevant electrical design experience utilizing 3D modeling/drafting tools
Proficiency in AutoCAD
2+ years of Revit design experience

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements
Associate’s degree (2-year) in a related technical field
3+ years of semiconductor facility design experience
