Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in Pittsburgh, PA, who is enthusiastic about working on projects that are central to our clients' businesses. Join us to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Be part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world-class designs for well-known clients around the world. Responsibilities Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our clients' advanced facilities. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files. Deliver complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads as part of our electrical delivery team. Develop staffing plans based on deliverables and project schedules. Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks. Mentor subordinates and provide guidance to less experienced designers/drafters. Qualifications Here’s what you’ll need: High school graduate or equivalent. At least 8 years of relevant experience in design utilizing 3-D modeling/drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD. At least 1 year of Revit Design Experience. Ideally, you’ll also have: Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements. Two-year Associate’s Degree in a relevant field. 3 years of semiconductor experience.
