Job Summary:
As an Electrical Engineer/ Designer, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic, multiâdisciplinary team to design innovative building systems and deliver highâquality construction documents for impactful institutional projects across diverse markets.
We’re seeking a driven and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer/Designer who is eager to contribute, grow their expertise, and build a rewarding career as part of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and program electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security
- Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls
- Develop electrical system design calculations
- Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT and perform QA/QC review work
- Review contractor submittals for contract compliance (as needed)
- Coordinate with Owners, Architects and with other disciplines.
- Complete code compliance research
- Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers
- Support project pursuits and client relationship development
- Respond to contractor RFIs
You will be a great fit if:
- 3–7+ years of electrical design experience (power, fire alarm, communications)
- Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and electrical modeling tools
- Knowledge of NEC and IECC
- Strong communication and problemâsolving skills
- Detailâoriented, selfâmotivated, and collaborative
- PE license a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Location: Lafayette, LATravel: Less than 10%#LI-Onsite
