Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer who is excited about working on complex, large-scale projects that support mission-critical operations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to state-of-the-art facilities including data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, and advanced industrial projects.You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment delivering high-quality electrical designs while mentoring others and supporting project delivery from concept through construction.What You’ll Do (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Perform computer-aided drafting and design for electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communications systems
  • Develop layouts, sketches, 2D/3D models, and electronic drawing packages using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
  • Coordinate closely with engineers, design leads, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex electrical design packages*
  • Serve as a project or BIM lead, supporting the planning and execution of electrical deliverables*
  • Develop and manage staffing plans based on project schedules and required deliverables*
  • Support understanding of project scope, budget, schedule, and client expectations
  • Mentor junior designers and drafters, providing technical guidance and quality oversight*
  • Apply best practices and contribute forward-thinking, innovative design solutions
  • Ensure designs align with applicable electrical codes, standards, and client requirements
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent*
  • 8+ years of electrical design experience using Revit/BIM*
  • Strong experience with electrical power distribution systems
  • Familiarity with equipment such as switchgear, transformers, panelboards, generators, and UPS systems
  • Experience supporting or leading electrical design teams*
  • Mission-critical or advanced facilities experience (data centers, industrial, semiconductor) is a plus*
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills*
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities*
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary team environments
  • Passion for buildings, construction, and continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in a related field*
  • Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements
  • Semiconductor facility experience*
  • Prior BIM lead or advanced Revit experience
