Job Description

Title: Electrical DesignerLocation: Elk Grove Village, ILHire Type: Contract to direct hireCompensation: $30/hr to $40/hr (based on experience)Benefits: As a contract employee of Sterling, you are eligible to receive a Full Employee Benefits Package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, 3 medical plans to choose from, dental & vision plans, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan.

• Should have at least 5 years of relatable experience• BSEE degree preferred but relevant experience will be considered• Architectural/industrial/construction related electrical design experience.• Electrical design experience with: Switchgear, ATS, UDPs, Batteries, fire/smoke alarm, lights, switches, receptacles, transformers, etc

Will create electrical layout and design drawings (panel schedules, one-line diagrams, feeder calcs, etc) to supplement small scale building drawings prior to the being sent to customers Assist in spec'ing out components to meet customer requirementsEnsure NEC code compliance and embody a design for manufacturing mindset
