Job Description

Paragon Engineering Services is a professional engineering firm that provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services to contractors, architects, owners and other engineering firms. We offer competitive and quality services to clients in the commercial, corporate, government, healthcare, industrial, telecommunications and utility markets.Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs engineering calculations, plans and specifications, under guidance of a lead engineer.
Responsible for Electrical design, writing specifications, inter-discipline coordination, field surveys, and documentation, design reports and analysis.
Completing projects on time and within budget.
Interact with vendors concerning parts they supply or propose to supply.
May direct/coordinate the work of drafters.
Inter-discipline coordination with all departments and customers to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
Drafting and/or coordination in AutoCAD and REVIT.

Education and Experience:

Associates Degree from a recognized CAD training facility or associate degree in electrical engineering.
10 years experience in drafting and electrical design.

Special Requirements:

Must have initiative and be capable of working independently on most required tasks.
Excellent communication skills required.
Must be a self-starter and able to contribute in design reviews.
