Electrical Engineer- Manufacturing Maintenance
Tulsa, OK | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment where every day brings new challenges. This is a hands-on plant engineering role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the electrical systems that keep production running safely and efficiently.
You'll work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to identify root causes, improve equipment reliability, support automation systems, and drive continuous improvement throughout the facility. Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $110,000–$150,000, depending on experience

What You'll Do
Troubleshoot electrical equipment and production systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability
Support and maintain plant power distribution, motor controls, control panels, and electrical infrastructure
Assist with PLC, HMI, and VFD troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment
Partner with maintenance teams to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actions
Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment performance
Assist with equipment upgrades, electrical modifications, and new equipment installations
Maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
Ensure work is performed in compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety standards
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve plant performance and safety
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
3+ years of electrical engineering experience within a manufacturing, industrial, processing, or heavy production environment
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems in a live production setting
Working knowledge of:
PLCs
HMIs
VFDs
Motor controls
Power distribution systems
Industrial control circuits
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical drafting software
Ability to work comfortably in a manufacturing facility and support production equipment on the plant floor
Must be able to commute to or relocate to the Tulsa, OK area
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting continuous improvement or equipment reliability initiatives
Experience with equipment upgrades, retrofits, or capital improvement projects
Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Schedule & Work Environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Travel: Occasional travel between local facilities
This position is based in a manufacturing facility and combines office work with regular time on the production floor. PPE, including steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, and hearing protection, is required.
