Job Description
Pay Rate: $70 per hour
Summary:
- Location: Duluth, MN or Houston, TX
- Duration: 12 Months
- Work Mode: 80% Office, 20% Field
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design for Liquids Pump station facilities for expansion and maintenance capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications and industry standards.
- Manage third-party engineering consultants to ensure design deliverables meet quality standards while maintaining budget and schedule.
- Ensure all pump station facilities are designed in accordance with regulations, applicable industry codes, and corporate standards.
- Design electrical components and interconnects.
- Review and approve design deliverables, such as drawings, technical reports, and material listing sheets.
- Participate in design review meetings with engineering firm, Project Manager, Operations, and Construction personnel.
- Review vendor materials quotations and prepare technical evaluations.
- Identify and communicate new lessons learned and quality incidents for assigned projects.
- Support department initiatives as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
- Problem-solving issues through use of standards, modification of standards, and/or previous experience.
- Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to technical and non-technical staff.
