What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and improve electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment
  • Create and modify electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on production equipment
  • Program and support PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
  • Manage capital equipment and electrical engineering projects from planning through startup

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience designing industrial electrical systems and machine controls
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, sensors, drives, motors, and control panels
  • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70, and industrial safety standards
  • Excellent troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • HMI/SCADA systems
  • Servo systems and motion controls
  • Capital equipment implementation
  • Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing initiatives
