Job DetailsSr Electrical Design Engineer PE (Commercial Projects) - Fort Lauderdale (Onsite)We are seeking a Sr Electrical Design Engineer to join our Team. Successful candidates will have 6-10+ of experience in Electrical Design/Engineering of electrical building systems and preparing detailed electrical engineering drawings and calculations. You will be responsible for the design of electrical systems from schematics through construction administration on a wide range of building types including Commercial, High-Rise, Hotel/Casino, Healthcare, Public Sector, Data/Computer Facilities, etc.Responsibilities:

• Design power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial and residential buildings
• Produce construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Florida codes and standards
• Support projects through design, permitting, and construction phases
• Provide technical expertise on complex design challenges

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• PE License in Florida (Required)
• 6–10+ years of experience in electrical design
• Strong proficiency in Revit Software
• Experience with mid-rise and high-rise projects in Florida
• Knowledge of local codes and permitting processes
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Stable work history

Preferred, Not Required:

• Spanish bilingual
• LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process
• Experience and interest in sustainable building design.
