- Lead electrical engineering efforts across all phases of project development, including client coordination, pre-design, final design, meetings, site visits, and project management.
- Develop conceptual electrical design approaches for diverse project types and oversee all electrical engineering work within the office.
- Apply independent judgment to evaluate, adapt, and modify standard techniques and procedures to meet project needs.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of consulting and construction practices, including plan/specifications, design/build, and construction management roles.
- Supervise design progress and coordinate with local and state agencies, officials, and external stakeholders.
- Resolve complex challenges such as conflicting design requirements, material limitations, and coordination issues.
- Act as liaison between clients, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth communication and execution.
- Prepare electrical construction drawings (single-line diagrams, layouts, sections, elevations, and details), technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates. Participate in bidding, contract administration, and on-site project management.
- Perform electrical systems analysis, including arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies using power system analysis software.
- Understand power system protection and relaying schemes for electrical distribution systems.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Professional Engineer license preferred but not mandatory.
- 5–10+ years of experience in electrical engineering (open to a range of experience levels).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and power system analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
