Overview
Job Description
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree; preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- Product development experience in an electronic / electrical manufacturing environment
- Design experience in one of the following product segments:
- Power, energy, defense, industrial automation and/or control industries
- Telecommunications, RF applications & testing and DC circuits
- Prior experience in the design of Surge Protection Devices will be a plus
- Analog and digital electronic design and schematic capture
- Experience with embedded microcontroller designs, ICE and IDE development tools and C programming.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and an ability to adapt to changing requirements and circumstances
- Strong verbal presentation, writing and computer application skills
- An able to simultaneously manage several objectives and changing priorities
- An ability to interpret a multitude of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Willingness to work in a cooperative and effective manner while under pressure to meet deadlines
