Job Description

Electrical Engineer

Design and develop electrical systems for custom industrial machinery and equipment. Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts. Develop and update electrical documentation using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or SolidWorks Electrical. Specify and integrate Allen-Bradley PLC hardware, control components, and related electrical devices. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, and project stakeholders throughout the design process. Support equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving as needed. Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and internal engineering practices. Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering organization.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. Associate degree with relevant industry experience will also be considered. 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally within an OEM manufacturing environment. Experience designing electrical systems for industrial machinery or automated equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, control panel design and layouts, industrial electrical components, Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and controls. Proficiency with at least one of the following: EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented engineering environment. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000. Comprehensive health and insurance benefits. Paid Vacation time. 401k with company match available.
