Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in power and lighting design for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and have a strong understanding of building systems, codes, and coordination with other disciplines. Youll be involved in designing and documenting electrical systems for a variety of commercial facilities. Any experience with mission critical or data center facilities is a plus. Ideally candidates will need to be able to work independently and take the lead on projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and layout of power distribution systems, lighting, and branch circuitry for commercial buildings.*
- Develop electrical construction drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.*
- Perform lighting calculations and photometric analysis.*
- Select and specify lighting and electrical equipment in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes (NEC, IECC, local codes).*
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.*
- Support project design from concept through construction administration.*
- Participate in internal and client meetings to review progress and resolve design issues.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.*
- 2+ Years of power and lighting design/engineering for Commercial projects.*
- REVIT Proficiency
- PE*
- Mission Critical/Data Center Experience
