Job Description
Selectek is seeking highly experienced Electrical Engineers for a senior role on a permanent basis. Our partnering company, located in Plano, Texas, needs candidates with strong backgrounds in power and lighting distribution to oversee infrastructural and educational projects.Employment Type: Permanent Hire Expected Pay Range: $117,000-$170,000 annually, depending on experience and certification level Location: Dallas, TexasJob Requirements: BS Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer or EIT 4 plus years of experience in MEP AutoCAD and Revit drawings In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the clients request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.Job Details: Write, edit, and produce the accompanying specifications for each client project with no supervision Review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, addendums, and other construction documents as assigned for electrical-related items with no supervision Conduct field work and complete field reports on electrical-related items to verify design with no supervision Supervise and mentor interns, designers and EITs in the development of electrical systems for client projects Seal final contract documents as assigned Expert knowledge of all required building codes Expert knowledge of client design standards Proficient in lighting and lighting controls Proficient in fire alarm systems Proficient in power and power distribution systems, including emergency power Proficient in technology systems Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
