Electrical Designer / Engineer (3-7 Years Experience)

Location: Clarks Summit, PA (Onsite with Hybrid Fridays)Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000 (based on experience and certifications)Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Continuing Education Support

Position Overview

A multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Designer / Engineer with 3-7 years of building systems design experience to join its MEP team in Clarks Summit, PA. This role involves supporting projects from concept through construction while collaborating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders across multiple market sectors.

Projects include healthcare, educational, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities throughout PA, NY, and NJ.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze electrical building systems including lighting, power distribution, and special systemsDevelop construction documents using AutoCAD and/or RevitCoordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, plumbing engineers, and other disciplines throughout project phasesSupport design of low voltage systems including fire alarm, security, and communications systemsParticipate in field investigations, site visits, and construction administration activitiesAssist with short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash studiesCommunicate with clients, contractors, and project teams regarding technical project requirementsQualifications / RequirementsBachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program preferred3-7 years of electrical consulting engineering experience focused on building systems designExperience with lighting, power distribution, and special systems designProficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit along with strong communication and coordination skillsPreferred QualificationsFE/EIT certification preferredExperience with healthcare, commercial, educational, or industrial projectsKnowledge of NEC and applicable building codesFamiliarity with short circuit and arc flash analysis studiesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary range: $75,000 - $105,000 depending on experience and qualificationsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysContinuing education support and professional development opportunitiesHybrid flexibility with optional remote FridaysLong-term career growth within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
