Electrical Engineer II

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our Smart Mobility Product Initiative. Join TransCore as we shape the future of smart cities and transportation tech.The Electrical Engineer II will design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and systems. Perform routine logic design tasks associated with the development of new products or sustaining of existing products.Work Arrangement - Hybrid, with a blend of in-office and remote work. Occasional travel will be required for business needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Implement digital circuit designs of simple to moderate complexity involving microelectronics and analog devices.Utilize computer aided design (CAD) software as an integral part of the design and development process.Perform functional tests on relevant electronic assemblies and documents results.Assist in troubleshooting problems.Research component specifications for use in designs.Prepare supporting documentation.Provide estimates of task duration.Perform other duties as directed by TransCore management.

Requirements and QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university.Minimum 5 years of related experience.Strong skills in troubleshooting, debugging/testing, software Integration and hardware Interfacing.Good knowledge of electronic circuits/schematics and hardware design.Proficient in using electrical bench test equipment and instruments to diagnose, troubleshoot, and verify the performance of electrical components and systems.Experience in writing technical documentation.Proficient in MS Office Software.
