We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to work across control panel design, test and build. You will have the opportunity to work across the end-to-end process in a variety of operations from electrical design to enclosure modification through final testing.
What You’ll Do
Build out Podium’s component database and standardized symbol library
Test, implement, and provide feedback on new software tools that help speed up the schematic creation process
Panel assembly including enclosure modification, component mounting, wiring, and inspection
Testing new methods to help improve the speed and quality of the panels Podium builds
Required for this role
Must have completed 2 years of study in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field and be actively pursuing a 4-year engineering degree.

Available to work in-person in Brooklyn, NY (in person, 5 days/week, minimum of 8 consecutive weeks)
Nice to have
Mechanically inclined and experience doing light sheet metal modification work (drilling and tapping holes, knockouts for conduits, cutting openings for panel mounted devices)
Experience working in a UL 508A panel shop or with industrial control panels
Familiar with DTM, E3, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical
