Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Houston, TX (Travel to North East USA required / Day 1 onsite)
Site travel is required - Accommodation will be provided by the client Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Summary
We are looking for Electrical Engineers with experience in industrial power generation and distribution systems. Candidates will support plant electrical upgrade projects involving medium and low voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and modification of power distribution systems
- MCC design and support
- Preparation of electrical drawings and reports
- Cable sizing, rewiring, and wire routing
- Site inspections and data collection
- Coordination with project and drafting teams
- Troubleshooting and commissioning support
Required Skills
- Experience with 4.16kV and 480V systems
- MCC and switchgear knowledge
- Industrial electrical project experience
- AutoCAD Electrical knowledge
- Understanding of NEC/NFPA standards
- Cable routing and electrical layout experience
Preferred Skills
- ETAP or SKM experience
- Power plant or manufacturing industry experience
- Field engineering experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
