Job Description

A premier AmLaw 100 firm is looking for dynamic patent professionals with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and computer science to join their thriving patent prosecution team. Candidates should exhibit exceptional academic credentials paired with substantial experience in a law firm, technical, or industry setting. We are seeking individuals with at least three years of focused experience in patent drafting and prosecution. A degree in fields such as electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics is essential. The role requires expertise in handling patents related to modern technological innovations like machine learning, AI, neural networks, RF circuitry, and encryption-based security solutions. USPTO admission is mandatory. Applicants should provide a cover letter, resume, academic transcripts, and preferably a patent application as a writing sample. We offer competitive compensation between $110,000 and $190,000, supplemented by a potential performance-based bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, life and disability coverage, and generous PTO.
