Location: Greenville, SC (29615) Granite Falls, MN option available Salary:$160,000$170,000/year A fast-growing engineering group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Department Manager to lead their industrial design team and shape the future of their electrical engineering practice. This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned PE who thrives in consulting, enjoys mentoring teams, and is passionate about technical excellence and client success. What Youll Do Lead, mentor, and grow a team of electrical engineers and designers Serve as the technical authority on industrial electrical projects Oversee full project lifecyclefrom concept through construction Drive client relationships, business development, and project pursuit Guide development of electrical design packages (15kV480V systems, MCCs, VFDs, substations, grounding, lighting, single-line diagrams, arc flash studies, etc.) Ensure QA/QC compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and industry codes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide construction/field support What Youll Need Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) 15+ years of industrial electrical design experience 5+ years leadership or project management experience Active Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience in power, energy, biofuels, oil & gas, pulp & paper, or similar process industries Proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD, NavisWorks/BIM360 preferred Strong communication and project management skills Entrepreneurial drive and a client-first mindset Role Details Schedule: MF, 85 (flexible) On-site: 4 days/week; Fridays WFH Travel: Occasional Overtime: Occasional based on project deadlines
