- Perform bench‑level testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other lab equipment; document results and assist with troubleshooting
- Build and modify prototype circuit boards using through‑hole and surface‑mount soldering techniques
- Contribute to basic embedded firmware development (e.g., C/C++) for microcontroller‑based systems, including sensor interfacing, I/O testing, and simple feature implementation
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and test engineers to support integrated product development
- Assist with documentation of designs, test procedures, and results to support design reviews and knowledge sharing
- Participate in design reviews and team meetings to learn engineering processes and decision‑making
- Assist with the development of test setups and hardware interfaces used to support product testing and validation
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
- Foundational understanding of analog and digital circuits
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, or electronics lab equipment
- Basic programming experience (C, C++, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a hands-on engineering environment
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer) is a plus
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git)
- Exposure to basic test automation or scripting (Python)
- Interest in IoT, connected products, or consumer electronics is also a plus
What You'll Gain in Your Internship
