Resonant Link Medical is seeking a process-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern or contract-based Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on lab environment as part of a small team to support the assembly and testing of cutting-edge wireless charging systems for powering implantable medical devices. You will work closely with our engineering team to assemble, test, validate, and document high-performance wireless power systems to ensure they meet quality standards. This is an opportunity to gain experience with advanced power electronics technology in a dynamic R&D environment and demonstrate your technical capabilities on products that meaningfully impact peoples' lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble wireless power systems, including transmitter coils with external PCBs and complete modules.
  • Perform end-of-line validation testing; document results and processes according to quality standards.
  • Use power electronics, mechanical and electrical tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and 3D printers.
  • Follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience with hands-on lab work, including experience with soldering and fine assembly work.
  • Proficiency using oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
  • Comfortable working with electrical engineering laboratory equipment.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience manufacturing electromechanical assemblies.
  • Electrical engineering background or certification.
  • Experience with end-of-line testing processes.

Location and Work Conditions

  • Location: Boston, MA (our office is located at 750 Main Street, Cambridge, MA).
  • Lab-Based Role: Hands-on work in a lab environment, closely interacting with engineering and product development teams.
