Responsibilities We are seeking an Electrical Engineer in Indianapolis who is enthusiastic about working on projects that are central to our clients' businesses. You will have the opportunity to work on projects including state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facilities. Responsibilities include: Accountability for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, familiarizing yourself with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Providing on-site assistance during startup and coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Producing designs for medium and low voltage power, UPS/Generators, Lighting, Grounding, Fire Alarm, Security, Public Address (PA), Telecomm, and Heat Trace systems. Utilizing your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover their drives, nurturing their purpose, and guiding them forward. Qualifications Here's what you'll need: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems. Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC). Ability to work collaboratively to achieve overall project delivery goals. Working knowledge of ACAD and REVIT. Ideally, you'll also have: Professional Engineering License or a path to obtain it. Previous leadership experience of electrical engineers and designers. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas. Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams. Passion for buildings and construction.
