  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material (BOMs), and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications; experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ERP systems, or document management systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Understanding of industrial controls, electrical components, panel layouts, wiring practices, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Willingness to learn engineering standards, documentation processes, and new software tools; occasional domestic travel up to 10% may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial automation, machine-building, or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, version control systems, and document management platforms such as SharePoint, Vault, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as NFPA 79, UL508A, IEC, or related electrical codes.
  • Experience supporting design reviews, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
