• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Perform material and labor take-offs for substation, transmission, BESS, GIS, and renewable energy projects
• Develop detailed project cost estimates and proposal documentation
• Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs
• Support management with bid strategy and cost analysis
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical estimating data
• Collaborate with preconstruction, purchasing, engineering, and field teams
• Assist in evaluating self-perform vs subcontracting strategies

Qualifications:

• Experience estimating Substation, HV/MV electrical, transmission, or utility-scale power projects
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, EBM, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Construction Science or equivalent electrical trade experience with estimating background
