Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Attend turnover meetings and formally hand over projects to designated Project ManagersAssist Project Managers with submittals, RFIs, and pricing change ordersReview and understand scope, contractual, and notice provisions of contractsPerform detailed and accurate quality takeoffs, proposals, and bidsHandle subcontractor and vendor bid solicitationsDevelop and implement effective bid strategiesAttend onsite pre-bid meetings and complete required training/background checksAccurately clarify and interpret subcontractor/vendor quotes, verify specifications, and ensure owner requirements are metFacilitate bid review meetingsIdentify critical items within bidsRead and interpret project specifications and construction drawings; perform basic risk analysisSubmit and incorporate bid items into estimating softwareCalmly and constructively manage disagreements, conflicts, and crises as needed

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the electrical construction fieldAble to multitask in a fast-paced environment and effectively plan, prioritize, and organize workAble to work independently, collaborate across teams and organizational levels, and take initiativeStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Accubid estimating softwareExperience with Bluebeam softwareElectrical field experience in a leadership role is a plus
